Career

Technical Director

Sviper GmbH: The Sandbox / Project Beltworks

As Technical Director my main goal was to make the lives of the game developers as easy as possible for both projects.

This included the stabilization of the development environment and improvements to the workflows as well as the communication with other departments and stake holders.
Key part was also the support & further education of the developers with workshops, design meetings and pair programming sessions on a daily basis.

As a temporary addition to squads I supported the development of the more difficult topics.

Interviews of potential candidates and feedback for our developers was also on my agenda.

May 2022 - July 2025

Principal Game Developer (Fullstack)

Sviper GmbH / King: Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!

Our game team joined King and worked as a fully integrated part of their development team.

The biggest topics I worked on were (Frontend and Backend): The dynamic shop system with targeted offers, a daily quest system based on the player progression and a large tutorial A/B test.

January 2021 - May 2022

Game Developer (Fullstack)

Sviper GmbH: Super Spell Heroes

I started as the first full-time Unity developer in a small team and developed my own DI framework as core architecture, the core UI and spell/battle system and touched basically every part of the code base.

While working on features like Clans and Game Events, I also started working on and loving the AWS stack and backend development and took the first steps with CI/CD.

March 2017 - January 2021

Game Developer (Unity)

Goodgame Studios: Heroes Realm / Shadow Kings / Unannounced Projects

I started my game development career with an internship as an ActionScript 3 developer.

When the decision was made to switch to Unity, I became one of the first Unity developers at Goodgame Studios due to my experience that I had gathered during my studies.

I worked on 2 released titles and many prototypes. The topics ranged from 3D Character controllers, core UI systems, progression and upgrade systems to tutorials and FTUE.
